The “Smart” way to own the iPhone XS and XS Max

PreOrder begins today October 19!

Lets be honest. If you’ve been a long time Apple user, and you’re already deeply entrenched  within the Apple ecosystem, it would be tough to convince you to make the switch to the other “side” no matter how  tempting those new Huawei, Google, Samsung phones are.

I’ve been an Android user from the very beginning and tried to stay away from the Apple side for as long as I can, but when I got the iPhone 7Plus for my Smart PostPaid plan, I quickly realized why millions of people continue to stick with Apple and no amount of  “gates” (beautygate #chargegate #bendgate #antennagate) could make them change their mind. (and enjoying the fast internet from Smart

The reason is quite simple really,  the iPhone is SO EASY to use.

Whenever I gave my partner a new phone, I had to teach her every single time because each smartphone brand had their own android UI or  “skins” but when I lent her my iPhone 7Plus, she had a much easier time navigating the menu’s and was able to figure everyting out with very few questions.

Unfortunately, its already been more than a year since I lent it to her,  and I have yet to get my phone back (and I don’t think she has plans of returning it).

The new iPhone XS retains the familiar design of the iPhone X, including the 5.8-inch OLED display and stainless-steel sides and a glass back. If you are looking for a larger version, then go for the  XS Max which has a 6.5-inch OLED display. Its about the same size as the iPhone 8 Plus (though the 8 Plus only has a 5.5-inch LCD display), the iPhone XS Max has the largest display found on any iPhone.

Both phones have a new A12 Bionic processor that Apple claims is 15 percent faster than last year’s A11 chip in the iPhone X, an improved dual rear camera system and better battery life.

So yes, the iPhone XS and XS Max might be expensive, and yes they might not have the upgrades you were hoping  for, but you still can’t deny that they are currently the best iOS phones in the market.

Like the title says, there is actually a smart way to own the latest iPhones–with less cash out,  unlimited text and free minutes–and most importantly a data plan with the network that has the fastest internet speeds!

Fastest network for your iPhone

As a result of integrated network transformation efforts, PLDT and Smart were also recently cited for being the country’s fastest fixed and mobile networks for Q1-Q2 2018, respectively, by Ookla, the global leader in internet testing and analysis.

Ookla said Smart achieved a Speed ScoreTM of 14.98, with average download speeds of 17.25 Mbps and average upload speeds of 7.65 Mbps, based on 2,118,464 user-initiated tests taken with Speedtest® on LTE-capable devices in the Philippines for Q1-Q2.

Smart also continues to lead in terms of LTE download speeds according to the latest Mobile Networks Update by independent mobile analytics firm OpenSignal. The report, which covered the months of May to July this year, showed Smart LTE download speeds nationwide at 13.09 Mbps (vs 7.34 Mbps). It also led across all areas, including in Mindanao, where it posted an average download speed of 12.23 Mbps.
