In today’s modern world of hectic schedules, seemingly never-ending tasks and the mantra of work life integration, wellness has just become as important as amassing fortune–and the adage “Health is Wealth” has never been more appropriate.
Well-being is indeed the new luxury, and living in a place that affords one the balance of health and elegance may just be the new standard for choosing your dream home.
This is one of the driving forces behind the partnership between Robinsons Luxuria and Starwood Hotels and Resorts, the company behind the prestigious Westin chain of hotels as they aim to establish a concrete definition of this new standard with The Westin Manila Sonata Place.
Together with several business and real estate reporters I was fortunate enough to be part of a select group of bloggers who attended the grand unveiling of The Residences at The Westin Manila Sonata Place last October 24, at the very posh BGC Show Suites located at 21st Drive, McKinley Parkway Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
The event was attended by no less than the top executives of both brands led by Mr. Frederick Go, President and COO of Robinsons Land Corporation together with Ms. Alexandra Yao, Head of Branded Residential Development, Starwood Asia Pacific Hotels & Resorts. Also present during the event were Mr. Henry Yap, Robinsons Land General Manager for Residential Development and Ms. May Lopez, Robinsons Land VP for Sales and Marketing together with other representatives from partner groups Handel Architects, W.V. Coscoluella & Associates, SY2 & Associates Structural Consultants, Magnusson Klemencic, RWDI Anemos, Ltd. Wind Tunnel Consultants and FBEYE International Interior Designs.
Anchored on the remarkable synergy of Robinsons Luxuria’s real estate development excellence and Starwood Hotel and Resorts’ expertise in lifestyle branding, The Residences at The Westin Manila Sonata Place is set to transform the local property landscape by fusing world-class hotel experience with luxury residential living to create redefined value.

“Manila is currently enjoying an economic transformation, which has primed the destination for development,” Rajit Sukumaran, Senior Vice President, Acquisitions and Development, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Asia Pacific, said.
